Alchemist 8: Dark Art Guitars Building the New Guitar

Alchemist - 8 Stings

I am pleased to announce the project for a new 8-string custom electric guitar, the Alchemist 8, in collaboration with the prestigious specialized lutherie brand Dark Art Guitars. Initiated on April 28th, this instrument will bear the serial number #0032 and has been meticulously designed to be the definitive tool for the new 2026 era. It is built with a focus on modern metal, Djent, and Atmospheric Black Metal.

The project, which is currently in a very advanced phase (approximately 85% complete), is about to conclude with the final touches of paint finishing and polishing on the guitar body, and the subsequent assembly of the remaining components.

Aesthetics and Design: The Fusion of Dark Art

The body showcases a hypnotic Buckeye Burl pattern with an intense green tint reminiscent of an acidic liquid or an alchemic potion, contrasted with deep black.

A key detail is the 7-piece neck, which integrates elegant green-stained Maple stripes to echo the body's design. The headless configuration and the ergonomic design of the neck-to-body joint ensure comfort and total access to all 24 frets.

The instrument is currently receiving the final high-gloss polish on its paint, a crucial process to achieve that spectacular, reflective finish.

This project is the culmination of months of planning to create an instrument that not only meets the demands of 8-string metal but is also a visual and sonic extension of my music.
